Wood Floor Cleaning

Wood floors add warmth to a home, but daily foot traffic, spills and the wrong cleaners can leave them dull and sticky. Elite Flooring Services cleans wood and laminate floors in Haslet, TX and nearby North Texas communities. Chris inspects your floors first, identifies the wood type and finish, recommends a gentle cleaning method, and gives you a quote before any work begins.

About Our Wood Floor Cleaning Service

Wood is sensitive to moisture and harsh products, so it has to be cleaned with care. Over time, dirt and grit scratch the finish, cleaner residue leaves a film, and high-traffic paths start to look worn. Floors can look dull even when they are swept and mopped regularly.

Every job begins with an in-home inspection. Chris checks the type of floor, whether it is solid wood, engineered wood or laminate, and the condition of the finish. He also looks for scratches, water damage, gaps and wear. He then explains the recommended cleaning method, what the cleaning can improve, and what it may not fix.

Professional cleaning can lift built-up dirt and residue and bring back the look of the finish on many floors. Deep scratches, worn-through finish and water damage are beyond what cleaning can repair, and Chris will tell you so before you decide to go ahead.

What to Expect From Wood Floor Cleaning

At your appointment, Chris walks through the rooms with you, points out the problem areas, and confirms the method and the quote. He then cleans the floors using a low-moisture approach and checks the results with you. Before he arrives, you can help by clearing small furniture, rugs and items from the floor, and by telling him which cleaners you have used before. After the job, he explains how long to stay off the floor and how to keep it looking good between cleanings.

Consider booking when your floors look cloudy or dull after mopping, you see sticky residue or footprints that return, or the high-traffic paths look worn. It is also a good time to book if you are getting the home ready to sell or you have just moved in.
